Opportunities Section
Opportunities is a separate section of EPM Research dedicated to sharing hiring notices with our readers: faculty and research positions, graduate and postdoctoral openings, and hopefully soon industry roles in engineering project management, risk, and construction.
Posts there are short and factual, the role, the organization, the deadline, and the link. Keeping them in their own section means readers who are not looking for a position are not flooded with notices, and readers who are looking do not have to search for them.
Subscribe and Turn Opportunities On
Subscribing to EPM Research does not automatically enroll you in Opportunities. The platform treats each section independently, and the Opportunities notification is off by default. Turning it on takes about ten seconds.
If you have not done that yet, first you need to subscribe to the EPM Research letters.
Open the welcome email you received, or any email you have received from EPM Research, and scroll to the very bottom.
Click the small “Unsubscribe” link under the copyright line. Despite the wording, this does not unsubscribe you, it opens your notification settings for this publication.
On the settings page, switch the “Opportunities” toggle on, so it shows green.
That is all, and the setting saves itself. Ignore the green “Unsubscribe from all” button; you do not need to press anything else.

If your organization, department, or research group is hiring and the role fits our readership, send us the posting. The Opportunities section works only as well as the notices that reach it.
